Cairo Film Festival receives a delegation from Shanghai Film Festival to discuss joint cooperation.

Discussions covered potential areas of cooperation, including plans to organize an Egyptian Film Week at upcoming Shanghai Festival. The two festivals also explored opportunities to exchange expertise and notable figures in the film industry, whether in organizing screenings, special events, or participating in judging panels.

Later that evening, a dinner hosted by Hussein Fahmy was held in honor of the Shanghai delegation, with Hisham Abdel Khaleq, head of the Cinema Industry Chamber, also in attendance. The discussions further explored ways to strengthen artistic ties between Egypt and China.
