Written and directed by Behi, The Island of Forgiveness follows Andrea Licari, sixty years old accomplished writer, who is back to Djerba, his native island, to satisfy the last wishes of his mother Rosa : scatter her ashes in the open sea.
The film stars Claudia Cardinale, Ali Bennour, Mohamed Ali Ben Jemaa, Katia Greco .The crew of the film includes Sound Designer Moez Cheikh, Mixing Sami Gharbi, Editors Yassine Bouchneb and Reynald Bertrand, Art Director Taoufik Behi, Costume Designer Lilia Lakhoua, Music Composer Marco Werba, Cinematographer Newine Behi, Line Producer Taoufik Guiga, Production Manager Lassaad farhat. The Island of Forgiveness is produced by Ridha Behi, Ziad Hamzeh and Nicole Kamato, and co-produced by Imad al-Din Belgacem.
